My mom is visiting for the holidays with her dog, he is a registered ESA. He is considering a restricted breed through my apartment complex. The questions I have are:

Is he authorized to be a visitor with my mom because he is a ESA?

She isn't on the lease, only a guest, does that change the FHA laws on restricting him being here?

Am I protected by FHA against legal action because he isn't considered a pet with his registration?

She was planning on staying a while, but they flagged our apartment for an unauthorized dog. They did offer me a "reasonable accommodation" form but then said the person with the EAS has to be a person on the lease. From what I read that isn't true. Just need some help, thank you!
