Employer Keeping Credit Card Tips, Says Its Legal

Card image cap

I work at a fast casual place and the owner is keeping credit card tips. They say since employees make a good wage and aren't tipped employees that the employer can keep the tips, or use them to pay part of the salaried managers wages, I don't know I was confused about that part. Anyways so it's just the credit card tips that they are keeping. employees can keep the cash tips they earn. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this legal? And just to clarify this is NOT a sit down restaurant, everyone makes more than minimum wage. Not sure if that makes a difference.
