Ex And I Broke Up - But He Has All My Legal Documentation And Won't Give It Back.

I broke up with my ex in November. I told him I was moving out temporarily, and I may come back. He said ok.

Fast forward to now, I don't want to go back to him. I told him I needed to pick up my sin card, tax returns, and a bunch of other paperwork, and he won't get back to me.

He has so much sensitive information of mine, and he's extremely passive aggressive, I'm worried he would use these documents to screw me over in the future.

Is there anything I can legally do to get my stuff back? I don't even care about my clothes or anything like that, just my paperwork.
