Ex-husband Drives Past My Home Daily And Questions Me About Vehicles In My Driveway Or Neighbors Vehicles. Is This Stalking?

My ex husband and I have been divorced for a little over a year. He is a covert narcissist in the truest sense. He bought a home on the exact same street that I am renting mine on and drives to and from work/errands literally anything down my street. I’ve seen him driving past looking at my house repeatedly. I mean daily, and multiple times a day. There is a main road that parallels my neighborhood street that connects one house down to a four way stop from his house. He can easily take the main road but he chooses to drive past my home.

He questions me about vehicles that belong to my neighbors and why they’re parked where they are and who they belong to in an accusatory tone. He repeatedly has seen vehicles of coworkers on my driveway and degrades me about “all the different cars” he sees there.

This is all in front of our three kids whom he will and has many times called over to listen to the conversation. Moving soon is not an option for me. I’m hoping to be out of this house and far away from this city where he will have no reason to be near my home unless it directly involves our children. I’m wondering if I would be able to file for a restraining order against him? This makes me severely uncomfortable feeling like I’m being watched and being questioned about vehicles. I’ve told him it’s none of his business who is here or not here. I understand that I can just ignore him. I’ve tried. I’ve been here three years and he has done this the entirety of my time renting this house. I just want some peace and some protection so that I can live my life and keep him from what I feel is an attempt to control me. Would it be possible to do this at all?
