Father Has Decided He’s Not Going To Do Anything For His Family Anymore.

My (18m) dad (56m) has “given up” on trying to raise my family now. My sister (14f) recently sprained her ankle, and due to her huge cast boot, she has to wear tighter clothing that the boot can fit around. My father did not like this, and constantly screamed and verbally abused my mother and daughter for this. He is an alcoholic and verbally abusive man, who constantly threatens our family with death threats and other similarities, and he has told me and my still crippled sister today that he is done taking care of us. He has no employment, and does not provide anything to our family anymore. He wakes up, leaves to drink in a bar the whole day, comes back home, yells with abusive threats, eats, smokes, and goes to sleep. He is a parasite financially as he uses money for gas, cigarettes, tolls, alcohol, and food for himself, while my mother who can hardly afford the homes rent with him unemployed works alone. My question is how do I get rid of him? He owns our home and car, they’re under his name, but I’m the one who pays for all of them because he doesn’t know how to. He provides nothing, takes money that we don’t have much of, and emotionally abuses us. Can I call the police on him? Nobody welcomes him to our home anymore, he only has the things under his name because my mother is a documentless immigrant. Will we lose our rented home that has his name on the lease? Will we lose the car? Can I even sue him for anything he’s done, as he hasn’t physically abused anyone in years since he’s too old to, though he did when we were younger. I need some help, any information helps.
