Ferpa Violation With Dept Of Education Takeover?

Hello, I’m asking this because I am curious but hesitant to follow the advice of people on TikTok.
Currently on TikTok, there are a few people saying that Elon Musk violated FERPA with DOGE’s takeover of the Department of Education last week. His team has access/accessed the information of many borrowers as well as their personal information. They say that this is grounds enough for a complaint to be filed. On top of this, they are also saying that this is a good way to get one’s student loans possibly forgiven too.
These people advise to file a complaint with the Federal Student Aid office, a FERPA complaint, report a Data Breach, and to request student loan relief.
I guess what I’m hoping to find out is if there is any credibility to what they’re saying? To see any favorable outcome, wouldn’t a Class Action lawsuit need to be raised instead? I can’t find any information about this situation online, but I was hoping to get the advice of legal professionals here, rather than an influencer on TikTok.
