Friend Got Swindled Out Of 50k From Her Conman Fiance- Any Way To Sue?

Card image cap

Friend was engaged to a man for 2 years. Initially, he told her he was locked out of his bank account for some reason and asked to use her credit card, and he would pay her back from his deceased father’s life insurance.

He maxed out the credit card and had to come clean that he had spent the life insurance and couldn’t pay back the 20k credit card charges. That was her personal card, on another card they shared he racked up around another 10k.

Next, he opened up a pay pal credit card by logging into her account and maxed that out. Around 7k. She did give him login info but assumed it was to buy something once.

Next, she allowed him access to savings account to deposit his paychecks and would allow him to take money out for necessities but otherwise kept him locked out of account. She forgot to lock account once and he stole her entire paycheck.

Could she press charges/sue for any of these scenarios??
