Got A Dui And A Hit And Run Charge Even Though I Wasn’t Driving

I’m a 18F and was with my “friend” 19F. We decided to go to a Mexican place and she drank 2 buzz balls on the way to meeting me. I drank a four loko before we went in and then we both got a flight and a shot. The people at the restaurant made sure that she was going to drive since I was visibly drunk. She took my keys and got into the drivers seat and drove us to a gas station so she could get a vape. She bought the vape and left it in the drivers seat. She admitted through text that she drove us from the gas station (I have it saved). She took a left turn without checking and my car got hit from the right side by a car (luckily they weren’t injured). She pulled my car up to the parking lot there and tried to park but my car stopped being able to drive. She got out of the car and I got into the drivers seat trying to pull the car into the parking spot. She tried to pull me out of the car so we could run but I told her to leave me alone. The police arrived and handcuffed me and arrested me but didn’t do a breathalyzer test on her and let her drive home. Now she’s saying that I was driving the entire time and I just don’t remember. I have a bruise on the right side of my head from my head hitting the right side of the car. My phone was found on the right side of the car. Now I’m being charged with a dui and hit and run. I’m not sure what to do and I need some advice. Do I fight this or do I just let it happen and serve jail time? I live in Vermont by the way.
