Got A Fare Evasion Ticket In Nyc, But I Paid With Apple Pay-what Can I Do?

Last night, I was taking the subway in NYC. As I was going down the stairs, the train was arriving, and there were a lot of people, so we all started running. I used Apple Pay to pay, and I saw the screen turn green with the word "GO." But the turnstile got stuck. I looked back and asked the person behind me if they had swiped their card, but they said no. In the rush to catch the train, I jumped over the turnstile. A cop saw me and gave me a ticket. I tried to explain that I had paid, but since my card is from Mexico, payment notifications take a while to appear. When I got home, I finally received the charge confirmation, proving that I did pay for my ride. Now I have a ticket that I don't think is fair. Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows how to dispute this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
