Had My Car Towed, Do I Have Grounds For A Case?

Good morning. My car was towed and I would like to know if I have grounds for a small claims case or any type of case. I was parked on the street at the side of my property, and the city needed the street for a parade they are having, however the parade route does not go through the street. Moreover, there was no notification about the street being closed ahead of time. We received a ticket at 4:16 in the morning and the car was towed less than an hour later. We have always parked the car in the same side of the street for many festivals and they have never once put up any notices or anything about having to move the vehicle. As I have already paid and gotten my car back, I would like to see if there’s any chance I could be reimbursed for anything regarding the situation. Thanks for any answers provided, I know it’s not legal advice from an attorney but I would like to know if I have something that I could take to an attorney.
