Help From Maine..?

so my friend is being neglected/ partly abused by her step mom and dad, i really would like to take her in whenever she needs a place to run to but i don’t know the steps. She has run to my best friends house with bruises on her arm from her dad but the police were involved and now shes back living with them. i was informed that she was grounded and hasn’t been feed because her parents “forgot to bring the food to her” and she’s supposed to be grounded for a few months.. So even though i myself am i minor would it be counted as child abduction?? thank you for anybody willing to help me because my step mom said that it’d be counted as abduction and id rather not go to juvie
