Hit And Run

So I am currently going through some difficulties. My boyfriend and I on Valentines day got hit by a car and I ended up getting pretty bad neck pain along with my migraines and some spinal pain. Unfortunately the person didn’t stop after hitting us and we basically just spun out and had nobody or anything. The police said they “couldn’t do much” and they will send damage to the cameras at the intersection it happened. I had to visit the ER and will end up needing physical therapy, I am in bad pain but also unable to afford any form of physical therapy and I don’t have good insurance. I am currently only 17 so I am trying to navigate a way I can get money so I can afford everything medical. I know I can’t sue obviously since there is nothing on the person who hit us but his mom was talking about putting my issues on their insurance claim but knowing her- I doubt she would give me anything for my medical bills (shes nice but selfish). I also don’t know if I should go after his insurance since I was a passenger with him but I am scared of his insurance rising. Any help with what I can do?
