How Do I Find Info About My Small Claims Court Date In A Different State?

TW: brief mention of former landlord being a pervert, no details

EDIT: to answer why I can't ask the lawyer who filed the claim for help: I only paid for them to file it because I couldn't afford retaining them further to prepare, advise and represent.

I'll keep it brief. I'd rather not get into WHY I'm suing bc it was all very traumatic.

I sued my landlord for events that occurred in the summer of 2023, in MA. By the time the lawyer filed the claim it was already February 2024. I never heard back so assumed that it didn't go anywhere. Moved to NY in September 2024. Got a text from my former landlord in December 2024 asking to talk on the phone-- he knows he's being sued, offered to settle for $400 (LMAO I lost $6000 because of him plus he traumatized me, is a pervert and a slumlord).

Obviously any information regarding the case has been sent to my next apartment (after I fled his) in MA; I don't have access to it. I'm willing to travel to MA to make the court date but how do I find out when it is? How do I prepare?

Who do I call to get this information or request that any letters/documents be sent to me in NY? Should I contact the property manager for the next apartment I had in MA (as in the address I uses to file the claim) and ask if she can retrieve the mail from my old mailbox (unless ofc the next tenant has discarded them)?

Lastly-- I'm travelling internationally until the end of this month. Would the court be willing to move my date if I find out we are summoned on a day I'm still out of the country? I really don't want to lose because I miss the court date!!!
