How Do I Obtain Court And Arrest Records From An Incident That Happened When I Was A Minor?

30 years ago when I was 13 my mom's boyfriend (now husband) tried to kill me. The police arrested him, no police talked to me at all and no one else was home.

Some time later, a month maybe, my mom came home after work and drove me to a courthouse. I had no idea what was going on. When we got to the door of a court room, her boyfriend was standing there. My mom told me to tell them that we were living together and getting along. I was confused and in shock.

I went in the courtroom alone where I stood in front of a judge. All he asked was, are you two getting along now. I just said yes. Then I was shown out of the courtroom and went home with my mom and her boyfriend.

I started therapy almost a year ago. My therapist wants me to get the documents. This happened in Fairfax County Virginia in 1994.
