I Got Payed With A Check From My Job And It Bounced

Ended up calling my bank and they said it was due to insufficient funds from the company account.Rent was due yesterday and now I have late fees cause the bounced check made my account into the negatives. This happened to several other coworkers and I talked with hr and they said the checks are gonna be redeposited but it might take till the 19th of February for the checks to officially clear! so a meeting happened with the whole building about the situation and the meeting summarized was basically "this will never happen again. We will try to do better as a company and as a family" But no compensation for any of the employees affected in the meantime.Is there anything I can do?
