I'm Seeking Advice After Severe Beating — Ex Arrested, I Have Fractured Orbital Bone, Lost Everything

I’m in a really tough place right now and could really use some advice and support. Five days ago, I was severely beaten by my ex. He was arrested, but he’s out on bail with a curfew and no contact order. I still can’t believe he got out after this happened. I have a fractured orbital bone, and I’m still in a lot of pain. I look completely deformed, and it’s hard to even look at myself in the mirror. Also a broken nose and brushing along my ribs.

After the beating he went to sleep i ran and got to a tim.hort9ns and asled them to help me. , I had to leave everything behind. I lost all my clothing, my personal belongings—literally everything. I don’t have anything left. From what I know, it was all gone when they got there. I’m trying to rebuild, but I don’t even know where to start.

My main question right now is about financial responsibility. Is there any way to get financial support or compensation for what I’ve lost, especially since I can’t work right now and I’m still recovering? He never alowed ne to but i want to. I’ve heard that victims' services are supposed to contact me, but I’m still waiting for that call, and I’m really scared about how I’m going to manage financially while all of this is happening.
