I Received My First-ever Ticket And The Sheriff Brought Up Something Called Deferred.

I was heading over to a wrestling tournament with my sibling in a town I was unfamiliar with. I did not see the speed limit sign and just looked down at my Map and saw the speed limit was 60 there. Well stupid I decided to believe my tech instead of paying attention and went 60 on a 35.

I have four options and will be checking off a mitigation hearing but I am not sure how to ask the court for a deferment. I was pulled over in Columbia County, Dayton Washington.

The sheriff said that since it was my first-ever ticket he recommended that I ask for a deferment. I did do some research but I mean how do I bring it up? I asked my parents but they said they had never heard of that. I do plan on pleading guilty for speeding but don't know how to ask for a deferment or is that something the judge will tell me?

Not sure if I need to add but my ticket is around $830 dollars. $222 for speeding and $500 and something for no insurance but I found it and plan to get that removed.
