I Sold My House 30 Days Ago. I Still Have Not Received Funds From Escrow.

I closed on the sale of my home at the end of January. As per court documents from my divorce, the funds would go into an escrow account and divided according to the agreed method (paying credit cards, etc.) and split between my ex and myself.

There was a credit going back to the buyers and the agent needed that information. I provided it the first week of February. The agent was on vacation the following week. He was sick the next week. Last week I called and he said payments would be going out this Monday. They did not. My credit card balances have remained the same so I know those payments are not being made yet. It is Wednesday and he is now promising that payments would go out today or tomorrow.

I have asked for documentation with the financial information with the payments leaving the account today. So far, I have gotten none. He is also a lawyer which is causing me distress.

At what point do I need to get a lawyer involved? By Friday, if I do not receive any financial documentation nor any payment per the agreement I do not know what to do.
