I Want To Leave My Husband But We Have 3 Young Kids And I Have No Money/ Job

My husband has become unbearable since Covid lock downs in addition to be generally rude, uncaring, and difficult to parent with. We have a very toxic marriage. We fight everyday or simply don't talk at all. We really don't like each other. There have been a few instances of domestic abuse lately including while I was 4.5 months pregnant with our 3rd child. When I bring up the possibility of divorce with him he accuses me of being a selfish mother and says I would ruin our children's lives. He makes all the money and pays for my car and insurance. I don't understand the finances because he has a lot of money in crypto and we don't have joint bank accounts. We do own a house together purchased after we got married. We live in California. Am I trapped? I want to do what's best for our children and I don't like the direction this is headed in.
