I Was Involved In A Car Accident With A Fatality

So yesterday, as the title says, I was involved in an accident. I was in the left turn lane waiting to make a left turn. I noticed that the two lanes to my right were green and going straight was another path to my destination. I turned on my indicator and moved to the lane immediately to the right.

Out of nowhere, I see the other driver emerge next to me on the passenger side. They collided with my front right, sending me into a median covered by grass and causing me to slam into a sign in the process. The other driver kept going past me and apparently flipped over multiple times into trees. Apparently it was really bad and I read online that they passed away.

Police and EMTs were on the scene. I cooperated fully and explained what happened to the best of my knowledge. One cop said I'm not at fault and they all let me go after an hour. But given what happened to the other driver, I'm paranoid about what happens now. I was not doing drugs or alcohol and I only have one ticket on my driving record in over 4 years. I've been reaching out to law firms all morning but figured I'd post here as well. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
