I Was Scammed And Need Advice

I’m in Ohio and I went to this woman back in august where she did my hair and I paid her for hair extensions for my wedding that is in January. I did afterpay through her and spent $1000+ I never got the hair. I messaged her time and time again, I always got the response “China celebrates more holidays so it takes awhile” this was back in august and it’s now December.

I was asking her in November what do I need to do at this point with either disputing the charge with my credit card company or if I can just take the hair (she mentioned having the hair in November but no longer worked at a salon where so could come over to her place and she can put the hair in). She freeeeaked out and ever since she stopped responding to me and my fiancé. We tried disputing the charge on our credit card but the first claim got denied (we are calling tomorrow to figure out what do we need to do because we have proof we have tried to get the hair and never received it). I’m worried because I went through afterpay and that’s why it initially got denied. Advice anything that I can do?? I’m so heartbroken (dramatic I know) but I wanted these extensions for my wedding sooooooo bad.
