Illinois Divorce Bills Up To $50,000 In Less Than 7 Months

Is this normal for a 4 year and 2 month marriage with 1 child and no assets? I finally had to withdraw my counsel because I got no proof of concept. No order for parenting time, no child support order, everything is in drafts that they are not obligated to give me upon withdrawing as counsel, yet I am still obligated to pay for this. Do I have any available course of action or am I just SOL? They try to keep me on the hook with how close we are to being done, but they just eat through retainer with fees of drafting issues, meetings on my issues, and the costs of "downloading, storing, and organizing" files sent via dropbox.
