Is It Legal In Tennessee For A Restaurant To Make A Server Pay For A Mistake?

I accidentally forgot to put a cocktail on a table’s check and was told I had to pay for it. My manager also hung up the ticket with the cocktail he rang in with my name on it as the server on the wall and posted it to our group chat and said servers make sure you ring in drinks otherwise you will have to pay full price for it. The only reason he posted the picture in the chat and printed out the ticket and hung it on the wall was to embarrass me in front of everyone that I had made this mistake. I normally wouldn’t mind and would just pay it but he’s just such a dick lol and am curious if it’s actually illegal for restaurants to make servers pay for mistakes and what to do about it.

Also important information: he put the bill for it it on my table on the computer so that I wouldn’t be able to check out and get my tips for the night without either paying for it or getting it switched to my account to be deducted from my tips bc it won’t let you check out if you have an open table. Imo this is questionable
