Is It Worth Pursuing Fighting A Ticket?

Hello,

Back in October I got in an accident in which an area in my neighborhood was narrowed down to one lane and a skid steer loader pulled out into the road seconds before the collision. The loader after assuring I was okay but before I had the chance to take pictures of the accident moved to the side of the road. The construction worker talked to a drywall worker from a different site talked before the officer arrived on scene and they both claimed that the loader wasn't moving. The lady who's house it was in front of came out and claimed that they saw me consistently zipping down the road(which isn't true as I absolutely avoid any speeding in residential area but we suspect she may have thought due to the loud muffler). I made the mistake of saying at most I was going 27 (I was driving an automatic that shifted to second at 11mph and had just shifted but in my stressed out state just said at most 27 knowing it would have maxed 2nd gear there. I know for a fact that at the moment of collision it had to be less than 16mph because that is the speed at which the airbags deploy in the model of car. The ticket is going too fast for the conditions and essentially what is being acertained is that in the length of three houses I accelerated to 27mph not seeing a loader parked in the middle of the road and broke below 16 mph below colliding. The officer litterally said "they want us to ticket someone because otherwise there is no real point in us coming out" to me right in front of my father who had come down the road as he works from home and it was on my street. I do have pictures of my car at the accident as well as a meeting summary from the hoa which brings up an issue with the construction workers driving recklessly.
