Is There Anything Legally My Mom Can Do To Remove Her Son From Her House??

LPT… How to get my brother out of my mom’s house…

My (41F) brother (43) has been living our mom for some time. He’s lived on his own a few times over the last decade, but has mostly lived with our mom.

He’s got a 20 y/o daughter who he’s used as a pawn to manipulate our parents (dad passed in 2007) since he knew her mom was pregnant. (I need X fixed bc the baby… if you don’t do X you won’t see the baby, etc.)

I tell my mom he can’t use my niece as a pawn as much anymore bc she’s old enough to make her own decisions.

So… reason why we want him out… he doesn’t contribute to much around the house, barely cleans up after himself, doesn’t cook, won’t help with outside work (mowing grass, shoveling snow), rarely has money for groceries…

His latest vehicle is a truck… he somehow convinced my niece to make the payment ($600/month) bc it’s gonna be hers someday (she doesn’t have a DL yet, not interested in getting it. We don’t live in a walking friendly area). He had it a year and the engine? broke… it’s not drive able…. Hasn’t been driven in at least 3-5 months. Has been using my mom’s car…and god forbid she needs to use her car…????. He’s got a friend who can help him fix it…this summer… my niece is drowning bc of this damn car payment…they won’t let it go to repo bc they’re convinced they can fix it. Meanwhile they’re not looking to get a temporary vehicle bc they can use my mom’s…

Brother is on disability due bad foot/feet. Claims to not be able to afford to move out and won’t check out low income housing, he’s too good for it. ???? always has money for new shoes ($200/pop), and other stuff…

How the heck do we get this man child out of my mom’s house?!

Is there anything my mom can do legally since there’s no rental agreement (was to be temporary)?
