Job Completely Screwed Me Over.

I started a new job in mid-December. Remote. A friend of mine managed the department and recommended me. I left my former job after training my replacement (no chance I can go back), I flew down to the HQ and began training, came home with my equipment. By the 7th, I was laid off because the company had made some bad business decisions and couldn’t afford the new hires after all. Shortly after, by the 12th, my company reached out to me offering my position back starting today, saying they would send me an updated contract, so I didn’t search for a new job. I asked about what projects I should be starting today after hearing nothing and was emailed back saying that unfortunately they actually couldn’t bring me back after all and wished me luck in the future. Is there anything I can do here? They cost me a job I had for 3 years as well as this one.
