Just Got A Letter In The Mail That My Wife Was Arrested In A County We Don’t Even Live In

Hello, last night I opened a letter in the mail claiming my wife was arrested for DUI, in a county very far away from us, which I had no knowledge of her being in. Obviously pretty concerning. I would really like to get more information on the arrest itself, specifically if she was with someone. I have to assume she was, but I have had no luck with the sheriff’s office or DA office on getting any additional info.

Does anyone have advice on how I can get more information?

Update: the mods locked this post unfortunately and they are also correct, I am pretty much at a dead end on getting any additional info in any reasonable timeline. What I did get, was the cross streets, case number, and exact time of the incident. But I could not get any more information. I do appreciate everyone that gave her a tremendous benefit of the doubt, but when I tell you she has a unique name, she has a very very unique name. And the Google search matched every other details on her drivers license. With all that being said I did confront and yes she did get a DUI and yes she is trying to handle it already behind mine and pretty much everyone else’s backs because she’s embarrassed. She of course claims she was meeting a female friend she met through work (she travels), but I cannot think of any good reason why she wouldn’t tell me that if it was harmless and she is unwilling and probably unable to provide any proof of it. And while it is very unfortunate for her and will probably affect her career quite a bit, I cannot have much sympathy for her, as she completely flat out lied about going to this city, and without wanting to provide much else, it was clearly a winter vacation location. I am an optimistic person but also a realistic person and can only imagine why she didn’t tell me.
