Landlord Keeps Entering My Apartment Without Notice And Now Something Is Missing!

I’m dealing with a frustrating situation with my landlord and not sure what my options are. I live in a small apartment complex, and over the past few months, I’ve noticed small things being moved around in my place. At first, I thought I was just imagining it, but last week, I came home earlier than usual and realized my door wasn’t locked the way I had left it.
My lease states the landlord must give 24-hour notice before entering, but they’ve never done that. When I confronted them, they brushed it off, saying they were just checking on things and that it was ""routine."" I told them I needed proper notice, but they acted like I was making a big deal out of nothing.
The part that’s really bothering me now is that something actually went missing. I had just gotten myself something I wouldn’t normally splurge on, but I had some unexpected extra cash come in, so I decided to go for it. A few days later, it was gone. When I asked the landlord about it, they claimed only maintenance has access to my unit, but I never had a work order placed.
I don’t have cameras, but I’m seriously considering getting one now. In the meantime, is there anything I can do legally?
