Legal Advice - Okc Slumpartments

Card image cap

I moved into self-proclaimed "luxury" apartments in okc last August. Not only did they move me into absolute filth, there was no AC or working shower for the first 6 weeks, then no heater all summer.

However, my question is about the legality and steps necessary for: Water is shut off 2 to 3 times a week (m-f) for 1-5 hours EVERY WEEK. We are lucky if we get a notice at all. If we do, it's with in 20 minutes AFTER it's shut off. When able, I send a maintenance report when Not notified - they've been fudging their books elsewhere, so I cover it on this topic myself. I've had to cancel appointments, interviews, visits etc. There's usually not a reason, just a "warm wishes" apology. If one IS provided, it always says "slab leak". Dont even get me started on the 4 electrical shorts.

What are my options?? I've contacted code enforcement, the city, etc, all but a lawyer----bc that costs money and they've taken away the list of costs from tenants when they jacked the utilities up $100+
