Malpractice Advice
I had a botched surgery to correct my deviated septum. The ENT ended going into a spot he wasn’t supposed to and popped my membrane surrounding the brain. Causing my brain to fall into my sinus cavity which caused some of my brain to necrosis and cause non bacterial meningitis since it wasn’t addressed. Also my right eye slightly started to point inward to try and naturally offset the double vision I was having from the meningitis. He tried to cover it up and it wasn’t until I got a second opinion that I got referred to Stanford and got a brain surgery to put my brain back in place and patch the membrane. I’m still working with Stanford since I’m still dealing with complications and the Stanford ENT said from what they saw it was due to the first ENT’s surgery. I’m not sure were to go in regards to trying to get compensation for my type of case.
