Managment Company Took My Bike

So I live in an apartment building and I've stored my bike in the hallway along with my next door neighbors bikes. The bikes were piled on the stairwell across from our apartments that leads to the roof. They've always been there. For several years, unless being ridden. The neighbors moved out months ago and left their bikes for some reason. I kept meaning to alert the property manager that they left their bikes but one was mine, but I kept forgetting to. I just noticed all the bikes are gone. The lease does say 'no bikes or doormats' in the hallways. But it does not say the consequences of it. You would think they'd give a warning or tell me to move it. But they just took it away. I just sent them a message but it's the evening and they are always slow to respond. Do I have any rights here if they took my personal property if they didnt warn me first?
