Mentally Ill Brother Arrested - Tx

My brother has severe mental health problems. While he has never had a formal diagnosis, we highly suspect he has paranoid schizophrenia. He hears voices, has called the police numerous occasions reporting my mother for "hacking" into intercoms at various businesses and speaking to him through them, thinks he dated Selena Gomez and that I broke them up so that she and I could start a cartel, thinks my mother is planning on breaking into an FBI offices, and so much more. He is clearly very mentally ill. He is also homeless as he is incapable of working and refuses all help as he 100% believes his delusions and thinks anyone trying to get him mental help is out to get him in some way. He has never been formally diagnosed because the issues started after he was an adult and he refuses all help. He cannot live with anyone in our family because is extremly violent. We cannot afford a private facility, attorney, or really much of anything to help him.

I just found out that he was recently arrested 11/27/2024 for abusive calls to 911. I do see that he has been sentenced 12/02/2024 but that also there was a mental illness disability report done 12/06/2024. The status of the case is Disposed. My question is there anything his court appointed attorney could do to help us get him help or since this is already over is there nothing more that he can do? Also, if there is nothing more this time, when he is arrested again (because it will happen again, just a matter of when) is there something we as his family can request be done to get him court ordered mental health help?
