Might Have To Break My Lease, What’s The Best (and Least Expensive) Way To Go About This? Ca

My roommates are psychotic long story short. I asked my landlord about subletting and he said that’d be ok if my roommates agree, I told him I’d speak to them about it, but before I could he messaged them, which triggered a psychotic episode in which my sister and I are screamed at every time we’re home. So now they’ve told the landlord they aren’t comfortable with it, and our living situation has only gotten worse as they’ve become completely unhinged. I cannot keep living with these abusive people, it was bad enough when they were just abusive to each other and their animals (why I was trying to leave in the first place).

I have family I can stay with but there are 5 months left on the lease and I don’t really want to pay just to use my home as a storage unit and be screamed at every time I enter. I want to break the lease, I’ve never done that before though and would appreciate advice. This is in Los Angeles if that helps!
