My Car Was Stolen. The Tow Company That “found” My Vehicle Parked At A Store Was A Company My Next Door Neighbor Owns.
4 Days after my car was stolen in front of my house I received a call from Moes Towing and he said my car has been at his lot for 4 days and you need to bring me 600 dollars and I’ll give you your car back. So I hung up the phone with him and did some research. I was wondering why he called me instead of the chp. They would have surely notified me that my car was stolen once the tow company called before towing the vehicle to do the checks and balances thing. The CHP had not been notified of the vehicle and immediately sent an officer Moes towing to the paper work. According to CHPs phone logs Moes towing called but hung up on the day they towed my vehicle. My vehicle was on private property where the people who stole my car dropped the car off. Moes towing happens to be one block away from where the people who stole my car dropped it off. I found out when a car that needs to be towed is found by CHP and they need to get someone to tow the vehicle there is a list of companies that get rotated and called. I looked up Moes towing and the owner of Moes towing lives next door to my address. That’s how I found out he was my neighbor. I don’t associate with this guy I’ve never met him. I don’t know how to approach this or what to even expect out of a discovery like this !? What do you think is this typical
