My Cesspool Collapsed A Year Ago And Was Fully Replaced By A Cesspool Company. My Husband Was Just Walking In Our Front Yard And His Leg Collapsed Through Again In The Same Spot, Injuring Himself. Do We Have Any Grounds Here To Sue?

I first want to point out that I do not have a copy of our old contract. But my husband really injured his leg falling through again. We have 2 young kids that run around our front yard so the fact one of them could have fell through again is petrifying to me. They told us after they replaced our cesspool we’ll never have to replace it again. We spent so much money reseeding the lawn and fixing that after they replaced it, which is another expense we are going to have to incur again due to their mistakes.

I’m assuming companies have a clause in contracts protecting themselves for incidents like this but I don’t have a copy of the contract so wanted to reach out here to see what options you think I might have. From what I remember we more so just signed an invoice so I didn’t bother to keep a copy of it.

Thanks!
