My Dad Stole My Car

So ive had a nissan pathfinder that I havent been driving because I havent been able to pay the insurance. It's been in front of my dad's house though and one day his friend asked if I would sell it which I agreed I would for 1k. The Kelly bluebook value is almost 6k I'm not finding out which is crazy but that's besides the point now. Anyway he asked to do payments on it which I agreed but wouldn't give him the keys until he had paid it off or at least close to. We'll one day my dad comes and asks to see my keys and not thinking anything about it gave them to him. Then the next time I go outside my friggin cars gone! He just gave it to his friend and dude had only giving my dad 200 for it! Which he just kept also saying he needed it! Like wtf?! He's the worst dad and I don't know what I should or could even do about it.
