My Ex Apparently Told Police He Wanted To Kill Me? They Never Told Me This (florida)

To make a long story short recently, my ex was Baker acted, due to him, making comments to the police about wanting to kill himself. He was Baker acted back in October as well. Due to an case coming up against him for a risk protection order, they have been looking into the information on both nights. He was baker acted. Apparently, in October that day he made comments stating that he wanted to kill himself and me as well. I was living at the residence at the time with him and I was never informed by any officer or anyone that he made comments that he wanted to harm me. Is that normal? Should somebody have maybe warned me? I feel like that is a little bit of police negligence at that point. Any input would be nice.
