My Landlord Refuses To Return Deposit After I Won In Small Claims Court, What Can I Do?

I'm in Los Angeles. I moved out of my previous place a few months ago, and my landlord refuse to return my deposit money. I sued him in the small claims court a month ago, he didn't show up on the day, and I won the case. He still refuses to pay nor reply up to this date. I consulted a lawyer, and he told me the only thing I can do is to seize his bank account, but I need to pay $150 for each bank to seize the account. I am already losing money for all this mess, do I really have to pay more to get my money back?? Is there anything I can do?
