My Lawyer Ghosted Me What Should I Do

I’m not quite sure what to do in my situation mainly with do I need to get another lawyer to handle this issue for me?

In July, I hired a lawyer to take over my custody case as I was starting school. Our first formal piece of communication after the whole agreement signing was me filling him in on an incident that happened with my children’s mother and I was met with a paragraph of “am I overreacting since that’s what I like to do a lot of” which confused me and and about 30 minutes later, he called me and apologized and thought I was my son’s mother and got our numbers mixed up, which was kind of funny because we both do not have the same area code. Roughly a month later I confronted him about that behavior and how I did not appreciate it and how I don’t know if he’s not being fully honest with me and communicating to the other party which he replied, I’m just keeping the wife happy to make our job easier. And let me specify, I hired him to go to trial with me in December. But basically we prepare to go to court in August, which goes perfectly fine and then silence. In November, there were several order violations that I needed to file, but I could not file without his firm preparing them, so I sent a text to his assistant, and it was immediately bounced back, saying the number is disconnected and that recording when I called her number so I drove out to the law firm and there was for sale signs everywhere which I took pictures of and sent to my lawyer and said what is going on and he said “ I guess I forgot to tell you, but I am selling my firm” and I have not heard from him since and sent follow up text messages and phone calls and nothing. He also screwed me over heavily at my mediation meeting because I gave him all of my documents and he would not give them to me for mediation saying he was working on something and I still have not gotten any of them back and that is some evidence that I cannot get again but extremely vital. I was just finally able to remove his name off of my case this week.
