My Neighbor Has Repeatedly Called 911 And Made False Reports.

We are seeking advice on a distressing situation involving our family and our neighbor. Over the past year, our back neighbor has repeatedly contacted emergency services claiming to hear "help" screaming coming from our home. This has resulted in approximately eight police visits to my residence.

Each time, we have explained the situation to the officers, who, while understanding, have stated they are obligated to respond to such emergency calls. We have attempted to contact the neighbor but unsuccessful. We believe the neighbor may be experiencing some mental health challenges.

The frequency of these false reports has caused significant stress and disruption to our family life. We are renters in California and are unsure how best to proceed. We are anxious about the potential for further incidents and the ongoing impact this is having on our family.
