My Soon To Be Ex Husband Wants Me To Give Him Full Custody Of Me

Here’s a weird one. I’ve got a genetic condition that required a couple brain surgeries and I have some memory issues and some cognitive dis functions. My soon to be ex husband wants me to sign over custody of myself and our 7 year old to him. I have seizures due to a stroke and we’re still working out the meds. I had an episode the other day where I didn’t recognize my husband momentarily but I’m good now. I think we’ve got my seizure meds dialed in. What are the ramifications of giving guardianship to my ex? He says he won’t keep my son from me but if he’s my guardian can I really stop him? I need some legal advice here.
