My Wife Wants To Go To A Women's Shelter, Worried About The Legalities

I'm just looking for advice or what's coming down on me legally.

We aren't physically abusive to each other, but the only thing we do is argue all time. I should say that she is an immigrant. Both of us have made a plethora of mistakes, and I realized we just aren't a good match for each other.

We've both talked about suicide.

One day she wants divorce the next she doesn't

I'm so exhausted of the arguing and yelling that I decided I was going to move out and look for an apartment. We currently live in an income based apartment, I figured I'd take my name off the lease and they'll adjust the rent for her wages.

I told her all this and now she's decided to go to a women's shelter, if that's what makes her feel safe, I'm all for it.

I'm worried what sort of legal ramifications lay in wait. Neither one of us have done anything illegal or committed any domestic violence. We just yell and argue.
