New Apartment Infested With Cockroaches - Can I Get Out Of My Lease?

Card image cap

I just moved into my first apartment in Los Angeles in the midst of the fires and I want to get out of my lease. Upon moving in, I found out they had falsely advertised personal parking spaces (I am paying $75 a month to share a parking spot with another tenant), the apartment itself was disgusting and infested with cockroaches. The first night I also had to put in a maintenance request because the bathroom sink wasn’t draining. I do understand my roommates being slobs is a tenant problem, not a landlord problem, but the lack of standards of cleanliness feels like a red flag. The place was also COVERED in cat hair-which I am allergic to-despite it clearly being written on the lease that any animals were not allowed (the entire first night I could barely breathe out of my nose among other issues). The big problem is the cockroaches. They told me over the phone they didn’t know about them but one of my roommates says they've already sent people over to spray the apartment and it hasn’t worked. He also says that the cockroaches have been a known problem since last MAY, and that they never actually do anything about it. Are there any legal loopholes or like a way I can get out of the lease based on cleanliness standards??? Also false advertising about the parking and also the cat hair thing??
