Nightmare Neighbor Is Constantly Threatening To Kill Me And Beating On My Wall All Hours Of Day And Night. Cops “can’t” Help.

So I’ve lived at my apartment complex for years and moved into a new unit back in October. Well my new neighbor is a certified psycho, he goes into these screaming melt down fits that last all night yelling about how something needs to die already and beats the wall. I went to his door last night (after at least 4 different 911 calls since mid-October resulted in cops doing nothing) and knocked planning on telling him to stop. The guy opened the door a crack, saw it was me, and said “I’m going to f**ing kill you b*ch” before slamming the door shut again and going back inside to beat on the wall our units share (the bedroom). This has gotten to the point that things in my apartment are falling off shelves and walls with how hard he hits, not to mention the fact that he can be hear from out in the parking lot and at the opposite end of the building. Apparently if he doesn’t open the door when cops come they can’t do anything and Im stuck spending my nights in hell with a knife under my pillow because I’m afraid he’s going to hit through the wall or break in. He’s threatened apartment management with similar threats of harm & death and has been served his 30day eviction notice. Is there ANYTHING that can be done while the eviction is playing out?
