Nys Restaurant Forcing People To Sign Sheet Forfeiting Their Right To 3-hour Minimum Pay.

Fast food job at a prominent chicken restaurant that claims to be based in faith had the audacity to now make a form that was sent with the following caption to fellow managers, “if you are sending an employee home early please read!! I made these template forms for employees to sign if we are asking them to leave early and they would've worked less than 3 hours. We have to have them sign so we are not liable for the 3 hour minimum rule for shifts. There are two to a page and they are in the front of the FoH binder. They're saved on the computer in the back.” When questioned about it later, allegedly, the manager making this said it’s for when people want to leave early only. I’m questioning the legality of one, making up such a document as a manager of a restaurant with no legal authority, and two, would thus truly be legally binding?
