Ohio- Asked To Work Unpaid And Refused

Truck driver who gets paid by route/milage (they map- not actual milage) lights went out On truck 4 hrs in to my shift- they asked to return to IC, unload and reload and go back to Indiana. Was told I would only be paid my route pay and not the 4 hours already worked. I was left with do the route or get fired so I refused .was told today to come in and sign Resignation and I think I had just cause to refuse because I would not be compensated. Should I NOT sign and file unemployment? They are pressuring me to be in at 10 am to sign it and return property. I rather not and send it certified. Advice please!
