Owner Of The Bar That I Work At Brought Underage Son In To Drink. What Are The Possible Repercussions Of The Bartender On Duty Knowingly Serving His Underage Son?

I work at a bar in Kansas City, Missouri. As the title states, one of the bar owners brought in his son, who just graduated high school, to drink. The kid has a fake ID that scans, but it’s an obvious fake AND we ALL know that his son is underage. The bartender at the time was just doing as she was told, but I’m absolutely infuriated that the owner put her in this situation.

Edit I have another question related to this one. We have had a huge problem with fake ID’s. I’m constantly looking at ID’s, so I can typically tell which ones are fake/real. The owners have told us that if the fake ID scans, then we have to serve them as this absolves us of any “wrongdoing”. Is this true?
