Parents Used My Credit To Get A Car When I Said No

Card image cap

In 2021 my parents needed a car because our family car got wrecked by my sibling. Both of my parents credit is crap and I was the only financially responsible one in the house at the age of 18-19. They told me that getting a car would be good for my brand new credit because I only had one credit card and I was trying to build credit. I said sure I need a car anyways because I work full time and go to college full time. We went to the dealership and the guy gave us the worst deals ever and when I questioned him he said you guys don't have good credit and you have brand new credit so it's looking good. He showed us a 2015 Toyota Sienna for 22k with apr 22%. I said no to my parents and said this will be on my account forever and it's a bad deal that car isn't even worth 22k it will depreciate and 22% is too much. They had my ss and a photo of my ID and went ahead with it anyway with my mom as a co-signer. Flash forward it's 2025, I'm married, and I just had my first baby and I'm still paying for that stupid car. I took it from my family 2 years ago because I needed it for university and they wouldn't give it to me even though I PAID 455.86 FOR THR PAST 3 YEARS FOR IT. I want to get rid of this car and get a new one so that I can drive with my baby in a safe car that doesn't keep having issues. The car has 177,500 miles on it and few dents and scratches because my family kept getting in minor accidents in it and the carpet from the inside is dirty because my younger sliblings used to eat in the car. What do I do, the car is worth like $3000 and I have around $12k left to pay off. My credit is fair-good and I don't know how to get a new used car without another loan on my head
