Parents Want To Buy Land Under My Name To Keep Homestead Tax. Should I Let Them?

Hi, I am 26F recently, moved out of my parents house and currently renting a home with my boyfriend 29M. My mom called me last night to ask if they could buy their neighbors property under my name in order to keep the Homestead tax on it. They currently have Homestead tax on their property, but since they want to buy the land next-door, they thought they could do it under my name to keep the Homestead tax to my understanding. I’m not sure how this will affect me in the future if they were to buy this land under my name with this affect me possibly getting a house in the future how would this affect my credit? Should I let them? For background, my parents have always been financially responsible and have decent credit. I currently have decent credit as well though will this lower my credit score in anyway how can this affect my chances of getting a home in the future? Edit we live in Texas.
