Phone Company Installed Equipment On The Back Of My House Promising Service But Years Later I Still Have No Service But Equipment Is Installed And Phone Company Refuses To Acknowledge My Request To Remove Equipment.
Ten years ago, phone company offered FIOS service and asked permission to install equipment on the back of my house which I granted. No document was signed. Years on, the neighborhood still has no FIOS service. I have written and called phone company several times but they ignore my request to remove their equipment. I want the equipment removed as it is unsightly and useless. It’s not high tech equipment—basically cabling and connections encased in a large plastic box. The entire system is non-functional and has been for more than a decade. Can I remove it myself and dispose of it without complications?
